SECURITY
POLICY
We establish this Basic Security Policy, along with our Personal Information Protection Regulations and other related rules, in order to protect information assets handled in our business operations—including those of our customers as well as our own—from various threats, and to fulfill our social responsibilities as a company. We implement the following measures:
- We place the highest priority on ensuring the security of information assets handled in our business operations, including those of our customers, and continuously work to prevent risks such as loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage.
- We also ensure the effective use of our own information assets while implementing appropriate security measures according to their importance.
- We continuously provide education and awareness programs on information security to our officers and employees (including part-time staff), and strive to ensure full understanding of this Security Policy. All officers and employees who handle information assets shall comply with this Security Policy and fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
- Taking into account technological advancements and changes in the business environment, we continuously conduct multi-faceted risk assessments of information assets and reflect the results in our Security Policy and related measures to maintain and improve information security.
- We conduct regular audits of our information security operations and take appropriate corrective actions as necessary to ensure information security.
- We comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and other standards related to information security.
- We establish objectives for our management system and information security, regularly review whether requirements are being met, and continuously improve and maintain the system.
